Our Staff

Has been an integral part of the Everhart Veterinary Hospital family since 1979.
Graduate of Brooklyn Park High School, where she was an all-state softball star.
Susan has been a resident of Baltimore her entire life and enjoys the combination of mountains and beach that the outdoor life in Maryland offers.
She started as the only daytime receptionist with Dr. Frederick F. Everhart, and now has become the hospital administrator for a staff of 35.
Hobbies include watching TVs "The Office", bobble heads, collecting antiques of the 50's and 60's, biking, and outdoor living.

A resident of Baltimore County
Graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at CCBC – Essex in 2003. Currently adjunct faculty for the program, teaching clinical laboratory procedures and radiology
Employed with Everhart for 9 years and a member of the MVMA and NAVTA
Hobbies include spending time with friends and family, spending time outside, taking care of 3 fabulous dogs and 4 great felines

Graduated from the Institute of Notre Dame in 1993 and CCBC – Essex Veterinary Technology program in 2000

Married to Jon Ballwanz, with 2 daughters, 9yrs. and 4yrs., along with 3 dogs and 6 cats

Hobbies include traveling, gardening, bird watching and spending time with family
