1. Schedule the Vet Visit Well in Advance
If you are scheduling a vet visit, it’s best to schedule for a date that gives you enough time to prepare beforehand. If you still need to organize and prepare in the following ways, then it might be better to give yourself and your pet at least a couple of weeks to get ready.
2. Keep a Folder of All Your Pet’s Medical Records
Having all the records in one place will make your life so much easier. Keep all your pet’s vet and medical records in one folder that is kept in one place. If your pet is on medication, keep an accurate list of the exact medications your pet is taking. Your vet will thank you.
3. Make a List of Any Concerning Symptoms
If you notice your pet is displaying any health issues, even if they seem inconsequential, make a list of them and make notes so that you won’t forget to tell your veterinarian about them.
