Dr. Jade Khan is the newest vet joining the Everhart team. She is a Texas native and has made the move up north to start caring for your pets. She has the classic vet story of saying she wanted to be a vet since she was 3 years old. Dr. Khan grew up in a pet-heavy household with 2 cats, 3 dogs, and fish as the maximum at any given time. Her studies took a non-traditional route, with her getting a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin before going across the pond to study at the Royal Veterinary College in London for 5 years to get her veterinary medicine degree.
She has a special interest in feline medicine, dermatology, and practicing fear free medicine. She lives with her boyfriend (who also shares the name Jade) and their FIV+ kitty Dipper who runs the house. Outside of work, Dr. Khan enjoys pursuing her creative interests with crafting and DIY projects that constantly change and mostly get finished. She also loves going to the movies and binging shows at home, and plans to return to her college roots by making movies in her free time.
