Lisa M.
Chief Financial Officer
Hi, my name is Lisa Mantakos, and I am the Finance Officer at Everhart Veterinary Medicine.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy trail riding, gardening, and miniatures.
At home, I have horses, three cats, chickens, bees, two Chihuahuas, and two French Bulldogs.
Favorite Part of My Job
My favorite part of my job is talking with the staff who are in the trenches. Their concern for both the pets and their owners never ceases to amaze me. Even though there are some very tough days, their resilience is admirable and inspiring.
I also love seeing the love people have for their babies and watching a pet's recovery.
Why I Chose This Profession
I love working with numbers, and finance is also a family occupation.
Work History
I have worked in finance for over 35 years, spanning everything from the restaurant industry to fiduciary work. I have been with Everhart Veterinary Medicine for the last 11 years - a return to where I started, having worked alongside Dr. Goodman and Dr. Everhart in the 1980s as a veterinary technician.
