What Is AAHA?
The AAHA is the only accreditation organization for animal hospitals throughout the US and Canada. The AAHA accreditation, which is voluntary, certifies a given animal hospital as upholding a strict list of mandatory standards and guidelines and striving to improve. These standards include excellence in many areas of medicine, including anesthesia, dentistry, emergency care, pain management, and surgery. You can see the full list here on the AAHA website. Everhart Veterinary Medicine was founded in South Baltimore, MD, in 1956 by Dr. Everhart and received patients through word of mouth. In 1991, Dr. Robert Goodman became the owner of Everhart Veterinary Hospital. Today, we operate Everhart Veterinary Hospital along with two veterinary service centers: Everhart WellPet Center in Pasadena, MD, and Everhart Cross Keys in the Village of Cross Keys.
Our veterinary services include vaccination, dog spaying and neutering, microchipping, pain management, dentistry, bathing & boarding, and much more.
